Family visits to tour the facilities are encouraged to deterine if PPA is a good fit for your family. Tours are by appointment only.

Services:

  • An inclusive learning environment, promoting individual strengths
  • A team approach to education that includes parents.
  • 2:1 student to adult ratio
  • Paraprofessional asistance for students with language needs.
  • Transition services to college and/or employment upon graduation.

 

Procedures

  • Team member(s) of PPA staff will meet and/or observe the child at PPA, the student’s home or the student’s current educational setting.
  • PPA team member(s) will review relevant student documentation including: grades, progress reports, evaluation reports, Individualized Education Plans, 504 Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans when appropriate per voluntary parent/guardian consent.
  • Members of the PPA team will interview and collaborate with the family to determine if PPA is a good fit for their student.
  • All students will have a personalized education plan.
